I have just discovered a new (to me) scientific site on the subject of climate change. It is so scientific that it will take me a while to get the hang of it, if ever, but already I like the tone of it. I am grateful to its host, Steve McIntyre, for pointing me in the direction of this admirable and balanced essay on the subject which I can just about grasp if I read it very, very slowly. Not the least of its author's virtues is his humble admittance of the extreme difficulty of deciding exactly the nature of climate change and what one should do about it. Required reading by everyone except the HAFs (Hot Air Fanatics) - on second thoughts, perhaps they need to read it even more than the rest of us!
