Blind-winger Jones is rather like one of those radio stations that only operate on the medium wave so that at night their signal fades into a mush and then suddenly booms out at full volume. Well, he's been dead since the 27th Battle of Ypres so it's only to be expected. Anyway, he's back in full volume again and just as funny, particularly his post entitled "Australia mourns the death of a hero". Read him and cheer yourselves up!
Many thanks for your kind mention Mr Duff. You remain a scholar and a gent.

Delighted to be of service, Mr. Jones, and I thought, apropos your essay on 'the Australian hero', that you should heed the warnings concerning 'Steve Irwin Sun Cream' which tests have shown, fail to stop harmful rays!

I really did like the section on UK politicians " ancestors of the really fraudulent holding government office,".
