I do learn from blogs. About a year ago a blogger posted a picture of an exotic fruit seen in a market in (say) Costa Rica. Various American commenters speculated as to what it might be. It was a lychee, such as Mr Tesco stocks all over Britain (doesn't he?). Apparently it's not available all over the US. Odd, eh?

Not at all. Me no likee lychee either!

They were called shopping centres centers once upon a time in my youth. Then someone had the cute idea if they called them Malls the shoppers would think they were in a small town, or in the case of the pricier ones the lower income market of a European small town.

The bookstores with nice chairs and large selection are defiantly their best feature.

Let's be truthful; they all wish that they had a Mall, which of course sweeps majestically up to Buckingham Palace, home of Our own First Lady,; and the huge and truly ugly cathedrals to commerce erected all over the globe are but simple 'homages' to that fact!
