I apologise for the coarseness of my title but my patience is anything but saintly! Here is a report of a court case in which two men and a woman imprisoned another man in a garden shed for four months during which they regularly beat him. The man was an epileptic and despite the fact that an epilepsy expert said that it was unlikely that his illness was the cause of his death, the prosecution decided that because it could not be absolutely ruled out, they would drop the murder charges.
I am considering an action for damages against some one, the BBC news reporter, the Crown Prosecution Service, for the injury to my jaw as it hit my desk! Even if it was epilepsy, the fact that he was imprisoned means he was unable to summon aid or his medicines. That's murder!
One for your list, David.
