He's rather under-rated, isn't he? Any idea why?

Craig Brown reviewed his latest book "Cultural Amnesia" in the "Mail on Sunday". I hoped to give you the link but there's always a delay with the Mail website but it should appear later today or tomorrow at:

It's worth reading - one of those reviews which you suspect are better than the book itself! In essence, Brown says that you have to plough through an enormous amount of waffle but when you come across something that gleams, it's likely to be gold. The aphorism above is, I suppose, an example.
