True, it's a bit early yet to be talking of the next election, unless 'ur wee Gordie Broon' springs a surprise on us shortly after he gets the keys to No. 10, which is more than possible when you consider the pathetic weakness and clever-clever idiocy of the 'Camerloons' who run the Tory party. An article by Peter Oborne in The Daily Mail is well worth reading. If I was 'Broon' I would be severely tempted to go to the country whilst the hideous memory of Blair and all his works are fresh in the public mind, promising to be 'ABB' (Anything But Blair) whilst the dim, young, Old Etonians in the Tory party go around boasting that Cameron is "the heir to Blair".
Should an early election be called, the chances are that I will not vote for anyone, but if really pushed to it, I think I would go for 'ur wee Gordie' on the grounds that he has been at the top for ten years and has seen all the cock-ups and crookery that has gone on (and been responsible for some!), and might (I repeat, might) just have learnt from the experience. Certainly if it's a choice between him and the 'know-nothing-believe-nothing-just-give-me-the-job' Cameron, then 'ur wee Gordie's' the man for me - even if my hand trembles over the ballot paper.
