Yes, you may not like his political views, but at least he acts on them, instead of expecting everyone else to do the heavy lifting! I thought his doorstepping of Mugabe was very courageous, if likely to go nowhere...
Sadly, he went completely off the rails on a recent 'Comment is Free' thread and exposed himself as (at worst) a bit of a conspiracy theorist when it comes to 9/11.

Yes, he's an example of what Shakespeare discovered 400 years ago, that no man (or woman) is wholly one thing. but always a mixture of often contradictory things.
Still, it makes life more interesting!
