J. K. Fowler, a writer of some merit in my opinion. On the web he has mastered the delicate and precise art of composing, not so much short stories, but minature vignettes. Indeed, there is much in the way of skill that he shares with those old masters of minature painting. In a few paragraphs, Fowler evokes atmosphere, character, and a whisp of a story. If like me you occasionally tire of non-stop political blogs, treat yourself to a break and sample one of his tales, they are intriguing and will stay with you for some time. This would be a good beginning:
