There must be something in it, either that or I'm hallucinating all on my own! What's the old fool on about now, you ask, so let me tell you that I'm sure I read somewhere that over in New York, in that splendid icon of the New World Order, the United Nations has just voted to give Libya a seat on the UN Human Rights Council, and, last month they elected Iran on to the Commission on the Status of Women. Eh? What? Iran and the status of women? What will they insist on, bigger whips or bigger stones? See what I mean - I'm surely hallucinating.
And just to confirm that someone is messing with my water I could swear I heard someone on BBC radio telling me that two Pakistanis arrested under the Terrorism Act cannot be returned to their home country because it would breach their human rights. According to Justice Cocklecarrot Mitting in The Daily Mail:
'For the reasons stated, we are satisfied that Naseer was an al Qaeda operative who posed and still poses a serious threat to the national security of the UK and that... it is conducive to the public good that he should be deported.'
But he added that the tribunal was allowing the appeal because 'the issue of safety on return' made it impossible to deport Naseer to Pakistan.
This pair were arrested in a hurry because ex-Cdr. Quick of Scotland Yard flashed a secret document to the world whilst hurrying into No. 10, and thus insufficient time was left to build a case to put in front of a jury'. So this pair will be free to roam the streets of Britain.
Surely none of this can be true, it defies all commonsense, so I must assume that my water is being tampered with, thus, from now on I will take my Laphroaig neat!
