Displaying enormous courage and dedication to duty, President Obama laid down his golf club yesterday in order to make a citizen's arrest of a woman with a criminal record nearly as long as one of the president's own speeches. Without regard to his own safety he seized her by the wrist (see picture) and dragged her out of the White House without even the assistance of the Secret Service who at the time were too busy investigating Glenn Beck to be of much help.
CORRECTION ... CORRECTION ... CORRECTION
Here at D&N, we pride ourselves on the accuracy of our reporting and it has now come to light that the president was actually escorting the lady courteously to the press podium in order to introduce her as a perfect example of those in desperate need of unemployment benefit. Er, yes, quite! The president is a wise and compassionate man but unfortunately on this occasion he was not aware of the lady's criminal record and thus spoke without being in full knowledge of the facts, rather like the way he sacked that black woman for being a racist before someone told him the facts, and similar to the way in which he described the police as "acting stupidly" when they arrested one of his pals, not because he was black but because he was causing a breach of the peace. It appears that 'The One' has a habit of opening his mouth and letting his belly rumble!
Meanwhile, the Secret Service, under the leadership of Agent Clouseau,
is far too busy to check up on the guest list to White House functions, or to vet people brought in to accompany the president, because after months of investigation they have just uncovered the fact that Glenn Beck is a recovering alcoholic. They did so by the brilliant but devious method of bugging his TV programme and listening in whilst he told his 2+ million viewers!
