Now look here, just because the Pope's popped in for a chat with Her Maj we can't have these priest chappies coming over here and actually telling us the truth! Some Kraut Cardinal has had the infernal cheek to tell us that anyone landing at Heathrow airport would think they were in a Third World country. What a nerve! Just because one would be hard-pressed to spot a white face anywhere except the departure lounge, that is no excuse to disparage our new, exciting, multi-racial Britain. Anyway, he should pay a visit to some of his own German cities which look and sound like down-town Ankara!
He also told us that "Christians were at a disadvantage" in facing up to "aggressive new atheism". Who can he mean? Surely not the ever affable and mild-mannered Prof. Dawkins who is always open to anyone's opinion, er, so long as they are not theists. Or the equally broad-minded Johann Hari who strives constantly during the occasional 3-second silences which crop up in his discourse, whilst he takes a breath, to listen to other people's opinions before then continuing to spew forth torrents of anti-Christian agit-prop. Behind them and their ilk, of course, stands a mighty army of outraged, atheistic, anti-Christian Trots and their 'useful idiots' some of whom, nevertheless, are only too pleased to lick the arse of Allah when it suits them, like for example, elections in a Muslim area. These are the people who screech their opposition to the Pope's visit on the grounds, probably true, that the Catholic Church indulged in a criminal conspiracy to cover up child molestation by its priests, but who are nowhere to be seen when one of the many thugs, thieves and mass-murderers who have stolen the leadership of their own countries pays a visit to London - provided they are Left-wing, of course, and have the word "Socialist" somewhere in the name of their ruling mafia family political party. Should they be Right-wing, like the late President Pinochet, of course, these vermin will erupt from the drains in their multitudes to express their support for 'the people'.
Lest anyone of either side of the God debate feels provoked by my words let me make clear that I remain a deeply committed, fundamentalist agnostic and I just wish that both sides of this frequently tedious and pointless argument would just - shut the fuck up!
Additional: I apologise for my concluding remark above. Normally I keep four-letter invective off my postings but I had an exceedingly irritating morning, driving here, walking there, dodging the rain, and failing to find any of the things I was looking for! It will not happen again - until the next time!
