Simply too, too, humiliating!

Well, honestly, I stop blogging for a couple of days - and my reader stats go up!

Anyway, in the very nature of these things what started as a simple water leak escalated and we now have a major repaint of our bedroom and shower-room, to say nothing of the hole in the wall next to my computer up here in the garret under the roof.  Needless to say, entry into this hitherto secret roof space has shown up various sins of omission and commission on the part of the builders all of which needs to be put right.  Such fun!
