Yesterday's mayhem by so-called 'students' is, of course, merely the hors d' oeuvres. The main courses will be served later and even more ferociously by the so-called 'grown-ups'. Usually irony tickles my funny bone but the irony of yesterday's events simply leaves one feeling gutted. The Millbank Tower building which was so comprehensively trashed is owned by the Reuben brothers*. They are, needless to say, multi-zillionaires which, no doubt, would have enraged even further the pig-ignorant thugs who attacked their property yesterday and because of their ignorance they would not know that the Reuben brothers set up an enormous charity which, amongst very many other things, built a brand new primary school in north London, several cancer clinics in Israel which treat anyone irrespective of race or creed, they are big donars to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, the Prince's Trust and so on and on. Pass the sick bag!
* Apologies, I thought I had corrected a mis-spelling of their names earlier but apparently it failed to 'go through'.
