Not a very nice title, is it? Not exactly tasteful or discreet. Not something you would want to flash in front of your vicar or your grandmother. But I'm just trying to get you all used to the idea now 'They' - yes, those mysterious 'They' who decide things without asking us - have allowed abortion factories to advertise their killing skills on our TVs. So warn Granny, or your young teen-age daughter, as she watches her favourite chat show that when these ads come on, in between the double-glazing offers and the cut-price sofas, she will be able to compare and contrast the various offers, and decide on exactly how skilfull the 'providers' are at gripping, twisting, pulling and tugging the various bits of a baby out of a woman's womb.
Of course, they won't put it like that, oh dear me, no. There will probably be some soft music, a long view over the English countryside and one of those actresses speaking very slowly with a truly rich, melodious voice assuring you of absolute privacy, comfort and tender loving care as 'you kill your baby adjust your life-style priorities', or something like that.
In fact, having thought about it, there is another reason not to let Granny see any of those ads because it might occur to her that now that killing babies is no longer frowned upon, it can only be a matter of time before there will be companies advertising their skills at 'offing the elderly'!
Excellent post. And don't forget that after they have "offed the elderly", they will probably want to come after disabled people and those who can't be exploited and make money for others.
We live in the ultimate "disposable society". If something isn't right, then just get rid of it. The adverts you describe are there to disguise and downplay the consequences.

David
I woud truly love to call that post cynical and pessismistic, the trouble is you are right on.
And you forgot about "twofer's: "two for the pice of one" when they botch it and kill the mother also.

Unsavoury.

Indeed so, Hank.
My post or the subject matter, Andra?
