No? Well, I think you should. Take, for example, Mr. Asil Nadir, late of 'Polly Peck-a quid-or-three'. He has just been found guilty of nicking £28 million. He 'did a runner' back in 1993 and lived a life of luxury in northern Cyprus until he returned here voluntarily in 2010. He has been sentenced to 10 years in jail, er, well, actually, that's 'Cocklecarrot' talk which translates in the real world as 5 years! It will almost certainly be served with some ease in a 'Category Lux' prison only mildly less comfortable that the £23k per month house he has rented whilst awaiting trial. He claims to be suffering with various heart ailments and it might be that he thought, correctly, that as a prize prisoner he would receive excellent, and free, treatment from the NHS whilst serving his time.
Even if he is unhappy from time to time he can console himself with the thought that it works out at around£5.5 mill-a-year. And he can enjoy a chuckle knowing that his legal defence which cost around £5 mill was paid for by me and you via legal aid. Needless to say, the party of law 'n' order (prop. D. Cameron, esq.) who were in receipt of hundreds of thousands of Nadir's stolen money are refusing to pay any of it back. The Lib-Dems are keeping quiet, too, because like the Tories they are still hanging on to stolen cash from a convicted thief. Between the two of them they almost make the Labour party look respectable. Well done, Dave, that takes real genius, that does!
Catch a few more Mr. Nadirs' David, an' pretty soon you too can buy Russian aircraft carriers and again have a fleet!
(I'm certain that's what y'alls pols have in mind.)

No good catching him and his ilk, JK, because they always hang on to their ill-gotten gains!
