Wont be missed.

Not by me, that's for sure, Timbo!

When I saw your title I read the acronym as Rot In Hell. I doubt one gets much rest there, but we'll see.

Should he be in Dante's eighth or ninth circle? "The fraudulent – those guilty of deliberate, knowing evil" describes most politicians pretty well, but Treachery is one of Hugo's most obvious traits.

I think I'll settle for putting him in Circle 8, Bolgia 5. "Corrupt politicians (barrators) are immersed in a lake of boiling pitch, which represents the sticky fingers and dark secrets of their corrupt deals." though he'd fit in many other places as well. Perhaps he can be set up for the Grand Tour.

Blimey, steady on, DD!

Yeh, but he was airborne, so he can't have been all bad. And as someone once said "Para's never die, they just go to hell and regroup".

SoD

David

A typical Latin American Caudillo " a man on horsebaack" who like Castro, Allende, Noriega and others realized left wing cant works better than horse back.

At least some poor horse got a break.

Kevin, thanks for your comment even if it does prick my conscience that I still have not got around to reading Dante. Mea culpa!

Man up, 'W', we must show no mercy to these thuggish politicians - they would show none to us!

'SoD' - get on with your work!

Hank, I don't quite know what went wrong in South America. There was a time, I believe, when the 'experts' reckoned that it would be richer and more powerful than North America but somehow they keep falling under the spell of these political mountebanks.
