It's difficult to choose amongst the many examples of looneyism. However, we could start with the recent EU ruling, since backed up by a British 'Cocklecarrot', that 'fatties' have a 'Human Right' to insist that their employer spends his or her money providing them, amongst other things, with bigger seats, wider doors, parking spaces close to the entrance and to make allowances for the time they take off due to their, er, 'fattiness'. Now, if employers were allowed to tape up the mouths of 'fatties' duing working hours so that they could not actually empty the chocolate dispenser that might meet with my approval.

My second example makes me weep with laughter because it sums up the utter uselessness of our politicians, our senior civil servants and the prats who constitute our senior military brass. We have two pathetic aircraft carriers being built at an eye-watering cost - so much for Osborne's austerity! - which may, or probably may not, be completed in three, four, five years time. At that point an embarrassment occurs. They almost certainly will not have any aircraft for them! And even if we do they will be sub-standard. The fact that if and when these WWII platforms ever come into operation they will be easily sunk by swarms, and I do mean hundreds - they're cheap as chips! - of tiny but highly dangerous drones which any tinpot dictatorship can easily afford does not yet seem to have occurred to the Lords of the Admiralty. The fact that the Chinese could bring these useless tubs to a complete halt simply by crashing their electronic systems is yet another factor which has not been allowed to interfere with the admirals' vital campaign to ensure that their wives eventually become 'Ladies' and they themselves become Lords!
