David, careful the bus doesn't mistakenly take you along with her and refuses to return you home.

Where's your Irish jokes for St. Paddy's day?

Strewth! Calling 'her indoors' 'the old lady' in print? You're a braver man than I am, Gunga Duff!

No, no, Oswald, that was the visiting elderly relative. The 'Memsahib' remains as elegant and beautiful as the day I married her, but then again, my memory isn't quite what it used to be!

Hmm..not sure that will be taken in the spirit it's meant.
Reminds me of the caption to one of those marvellous cartoons in old copies of 'Punch' in which an elderly bloke is complaining to his wife:
"Can't stand that fellow Cardew; always complaining about how old and ugly his wife's getting. Dashed bad form, I call it. I always see you as you used to be, thank God!"
(Collapse of stout party!)

Nothing quite like those old Punch cartoons.

Probably because we're both contemporaries of the artists!

Now you have produced a 'Bateman re-action' in me!

Damn. Can't top that!

Oh, I misread that.
Thought it was a "batman reaction".
I quite liked the thought of David in full super-hero kit.
