Jutland is a constant topic of conversation in Naval circles. On analysis Beatty should carry more responsibility for the problems at Jutland than Jellicoe. Notwithstanding the argument that the German fleet was more successful in sinking ships the RN carried the day as that battle was the last time the Kaiser's navy ventured out in force and from then on the RN dominated the sea lanes vital to the supply of Britain.
