To be honest, I had my suspicions that 'HillBilly', like one of those persistent flies that buzz around one's kitchen on a Summer's day, would never go away but I am obliged for more definite information to Ms. Doris O'Brien at The American Thinker, a very witty lady who refers to Madame Secretary as "Her Heinous" - oh God, I wish I had thought of that one!
Did anyone really expect Madame Secretary to meander forever? Even in the wake of her unexpected defeat, Hillary’s professed pining for natural seclusion was, as usual, a lie. Henry David Thoreau she’s not. Having barely survived ordering a meal at the counter of a roadside Chippotle, Mrs. Clinton is not the sort who would cozy up to Mother Nature. And though her walks in the park supposedly resulted in a resolve to “resist, insist, persist and enlist”, Hillary is better known for scheming than for rhyme schemes.
Her first target, needless to say, is a fellow Democrat - why am I not surprised? - the current mayor of 'Noo Yawk', Mr. Bill de Blasio. I gain the distinct impression from various reports that he is as thick as a box pf spanners but, alas, the majority of 'Noo Yawkers', like the inhabitants of most mega-big cities 'over there', are equally thick and keep on voting the idiots in - so 'HillBilly' will 'do fine, jus' fine'! But of course, poor old Bill is merely a stepping stone on her way to higher matters:
In the rampant liberal obstructionism against Donald Trump, Hillary senses her means of getting back into the game. She views the absurd claims about his collusion with the Russians as a vindication for her unanticipated defeat. Although some Democrats may still chide her for a lackluster performance on the 2016 campaign trail, that will all but be forgotten by the next presidential election, especially if she, say, were to become the first Hiz Honor to be a her – and if she does a better job than Bill De Blasio, which wouldn’t seem all that hard.
So, my message to 'The Donald' is - get a grip! I know it's early days but so far you have only scored 'E' for Effort! If you lose the next election to 'that woman' I may be forced to grab you by the gingers - dread thought!
Ugg...can somebody please throw a bucket of cold water on this harridan. Watching her shrivel up in a puff of steam would be fitting.

from the article:
But one distraught black student said the “Trump” chant reminded her of the sinister tribal drumbeats of Africa.
I would say to her - and what do you know about the sinister tribal drumbeats or any beats of Africa?
fools the lot of them

Old politicians never die, they just smell that way.

I still believe that she is ill, not just mentally, and will not be a force in the 2020 election.
As for De Blasio, we have a problem, we, on both sides of the water, of people who vote for the dispensers of largess. City governments here are big lesions of that sort of thing. You have your own problems, of course, and I wish you all the best in treating them. My recent exposure to Ms Kate has given me great hope for y'all. It does appear, and I realize that we see what looks like a familiar pattern, when it is something else, that the consumers of largess are concentrated in the biggest commercial centers, London being the largest of them all. So your "flyover country" outside the biggest cities, is much like ours, loaded with simple horse sense, and rather contemptuous of the "Deep Thinkers" who are educated enough to believe the ridiculous.

""Deep Thinkers" who are educated enough to believe the ridiculous." Or, educated beyond their intelligence.

Good for wingers that Hillary is still such an amusing target. Without her they might have to pay attention to Trump:
"Far from taking Washington by storm, America’s CEO is out of his depth. The art of political compromise is new to him. He blurs his own interests and the interests of the nation. The scrutiny of office grates. He chafes under the limitations of being the most powerful man in the world. You have only to follow his incontinent stream of tweets to grasp Mr Trump’s paranoia and vanity: the press lies about him; the election result fraudulently omitted millions of votes for him; the intelligence services are disloyal; his predecessor tapped his phones. It’s neither pretty nor presidential."

Sorry to hog the thread, but unable to resist remarking that one sure way to not be over-educated is to have attended Trump University:
"Trump paying $25M after judge approves Trump University deal
A judge on Friday approved an agreement for President Donald Trump to pay $25 million to settle lawsuits over his now-defunct Trump University, ending nearly seven years of legal battles with customers who claimed they were misled by failed promises to teach success in real estate."

More interesting is that General Flynn has been the first to beg immunity for ratting out connections between the Trump campaign and Putin's goons. But please, by all means, don't let that dampen your spirits and keep up the hilarity with Hillary.

You're never a hog, Bob, but I suspect that another way "not to be over-educated" is to attend UCLA!

Hello Bob, you write:
the press lies about him; the election result fraudulently omitted millions of votes for him; the intelligence services are disloyal; his predecessor tapped his phones
This is what the rest of us have been saying all along!

Totally off topic but Andra's part of Oz has just had the somewhat dubious pleasure of hosting a cyclone.
Ahoy Andra - is all OK with you?
Have you heard from her Duffers?
Posted by: AussieD | Saturday, 01 April 2017 at 10:34
Oh Lord that woman is still there! I almost spit coffee on my Russian made keyboard.
Posted by: Whitewall | Saturday, 01 April 2017 at 12:20
That cyclone, according to our weather fibbers, is still having its way with Andra's neighborhood.

Hi backofanenvelope,
I can't claim originality and was only quoting the editors of The Economist summarizing Trump's tweets. The whopper about Obama wire tapping Trump Tower has been denied by the FBI and set off at least 3 investigations into the Trump administration.

David,
Here's a Wikipedia list of Nobel laureates with degrees from UCLA:
Ralph Bunche – recipient of the 1950 Nobel Peace Prize
Richard F. Heck – recipient of the 2010 Nobel Prize in Chemistry
Robert Bruce Merrifield – recipient of the 1984 Nobel Prize in Chemistry
Elinor Ostrom – recipient of the 2009 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences
Randy Schekman – recipient of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Medicine
Glenn T. Seaborg – recipient of the 1951 Nobel Prize in Chemistry
William F. Sharpe – recipient of the 1990 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences
Oddly enough, the same source lists none for Trump "University".

Gentlemen, Andra is fine, jes' fine! And she has dug up some excellent 'funnies' for Monday morning.

The Economist thinks the EU is the best thing since sliced bread. Who knows what the FBI thinks? Depends on the day of the week.
Posted by: backofanenvelope | Saturday, 01 April 2017 at 17:53
Bob, that's 7 in 67 years - could do better!
Posted by: David Duff | Saturday, 01 April 2017 at 17:55
David, do I detect a double standard?
Posted by: Bob | Saturday, 01 April 2017 at 20:22
I don't have any standards at all, Bob!
