Now, Ladies, be honest, would you let this big, fat, ugly, greedy, multi-zillionaire owner of the biggest studio in Hollywood watch you take a shower and then give him a massage afterwards?
Well, alas and alack, I suspect that quite a few of you would particularly if you were desperate to get a role in one of his films. I suggest that because apparently a never-ending stream of young lovelies were importuned in similar ways over the past 30-odd years by the deeply un-lovely Mr. Harvey Weinstein. This was, apparently, an open secret in Hollywood circles and yet ... and yet ... it has taken nearly 30 years before anyone spilled the beans.
This may be because of his enormous power and grip over the film-making industry in California, or it might be because virtually all of Hollywood is a Democratic party enclave and Weinstein is a huge donor - and I mean 'yuuuuuuge' - to both the party itself and individual Democratic politicians, amongst whom - natch! - the Clintons are grateful recipients. (Pur-lease, pur-lease, don't tell me that the gross, fat pig asked 'HillBilly' to shower for him because if he did then he really needs to go to Specsavers, to say nothing of a psycho-babbler! Another senior Democrat lady in receipt of sacks of Weinstein 'moolah' was Elizabeth 'Fauxcahontas' Warren. According to reports, both she and 'HillBilly' have announced that they will be returning the money although there is some doubts over the Clintons because, following her electoral disaster, they find themselves a bit short of 'readies'. Oh dear what a pity never mind!
However, delicious as this story is, there is one puzzling aspect to it that deserves an answer. The story of Weinstein's 'piggery', which was well-known in Hollywood circles for years, was broken by the New York Times, an impeccably Left-wing, agit-prop paper which normally bends over quicker than Weinstein's ladies when it comes to protecting and pushing the Democrat party line. So what made them go all 'dirty rat fink'?
Goodness, how sickening! What could be worse than a nasty, fat old man using his position to ogle Miss Teen USA contestants in the changing room or grab women by their private parts uninvited? No, wait, wrong pervert.
This might be important too: The Chicago Tribune, which is definitely not an impeccably Left-wing, agit-prop paper, reports the following by the way of the WaPo:
"Associates of President Donald Trump and his company have turned over documents to federal investigators that reveal two previously unreported contacts from Russia during the 2016 campaign, according to people familiar with the matter."
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/politics/ct-trump-russia-probe-20171002-story.html
Also:
"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The special counsel investigating whether Russia tried to sway the 2016 U.S. election has taken over FBI inquiries into a former British spy’s dossier of allegations of Russian financial and personal links to President Donald Trump’s campaign and associates, sources familiar with the inquiry told Reuters."

Hypocrisy apparently thrives outside of La La Land too.

Harvey could rape an aspiring young actress in broad daylight at Hollywood and Vine and not lose any fame or status. He contributed to the right causes and people, makes the right kind of movies and employs the right actors who mouth the same. One of his own kind spilled the beans so I hear. She will get little support out there I'm guessing.

Seriously, Bob. Your deranged fixation on the POTUS is risible. You need to get out more. Smell the coffee. Get a hobby.
The Don won. The Clintoris lost. It's all good.

Does prove Trump right in one respect. If you're rich and famous women will let you do anything.
Posted by: Pat | Saturday, 07 October 2017 at 21:03
Pat,
I don't know about "anything", but women have been allowing themselves to be ogled by all sorts of men, from billionaires to (young and handsome) paupers, like forever. I have observed this on many occasions, not that I'm a billionaire, a pauper, or young. I'm just a man :)

Neither I nor any other man would fail to comply.

What's Peter G doing here again?
Posted by: mike fowle | Sunday, 08 October 2017 at 07:08
He must have wormed his way in through a loophole.
Posted by: TheBigHenry | Sunday, 08 October 2017 at 07:26
'Wormed' is exactly the right word and now he can just 'worm off'! What a boring little man he is.

Henry, Trump won so now everything is good? I can't argue with logic like that.
Posted by: Bob | Sunday, 08 October 2017 at 15:06
Bob,
Feelings are not necessarily expressions of logic. They're feelings. I realize that our respective worldviews are such that whatever feels good to me makes you unhappy. But that's not my problem; it's yours.IMHO, you need another hobby besides arguing. Have you tried stamp collecting?

David,
I think you need to have Loz show you how to block a troll.

@ Canadian troll:
Free speech applies to public venues. It does not apply in a private setting where you have been told to get stuffed.

Henry,
I don't feel bad when you're happy. That's just a bit paranoid, don't you think? In fact I'm quite amused by the Trump administration. They're already calling each other morons. I just hope the cameras are on when the slapping begins:

Bob,
No, I am not being paranoid. But you continue being argumentative. There is more to life than Trump derangement, and trying to convince people how much fun you are having from your fixation.
Have a nice day.
Posted by: TheBigHenry | Sunday, 08 October 2017 at 17:06
Henry, we agree there's more to life than Trump's derangement.
Posted by: Bob | Sunday, 08 October 2017 at 19:17
Incidentally, Bob, it did not escape my attention that you disingenuously altered what I had said in order to suggest paranoia on my part. To wit, "whatever feels good to me makes you unhappy" is entirely different in meaning from if I had said, "when I feel good it makes you unhappy".
Posted by: TheBigHenry | Sunday, 08 October 2017 at 19:21
Henry, I'm a big boy and can freely admit that since I'm a non-rightist I'm capable of total dishonesty while feeling completely good about it.
Posted by: Bob | Sunday, 08 October 2017 at 19:52
You had me fooled, Bob. For a while there I thought you might not be the asshole I originally thought you were. I guess no good intention goes unpunished.
Posted by: TheBigHenry | Sunday, 08 October 2017 at 20:32
Henry, I guess you can always be wrong.

CHILDREN! Behave or I'll report you to your mothers!
