And that includes the biggest 'retard' of them all - Hillary Rodham Clinton! Such has been the 'harum-scarum' presidential ride with 'The Donald' at the wheel that I really haven't had time to, as it were, 'go back to the future' and imagine how life would have been with 'President' Hillary and her collection of crooked and unbelievably 'stoopid' clowns running the show. Happily, Mr. Victor Davis Hanson does it for me at The National Review and I am still wiping my brow in relief.
Yes, of course, 'The Donald' has his own deeply egocentric way of running his country - and the world! - and the risks of calamity are ever-present. However, he possesses two virtues which are exceedingly valuable. First, no-one, friends or enemies, can be absolutely sure what he is thinking; and secondly, he is perfectly comfortable changing his mind when 'push comes to shove'. This keeps everyone on their toes!
But now consider the concrete mind-set (if "mind" is actually applicable!) of the Clinton mob. As 'VDH' points out, in his eviscerating analysis, in effect from top to bottom the Clinton mob were the equivalent of the French aristocracy prior to the French revolution. Blithely unaware of deeper currents in the American electorate they remained stuffed and puffed with the absolute certainty that Hillary would win! Of course, they were all in varying degrees a 'yuuuuuuge' collection of crooks and thieves and truly monumental nitwits. None of them, not one, despite their smart suits, their 'secret' contacts, their world-wide web of cronies, ever imagined for even a second that Hillary would lose to that ridiculous 'ginger Ninjah'.
Well, today they are paying the price. They may not be facing an actual guillotine but as they lose their well-paid sinecure jobs and the expense accounts that go with them, and as they face the raucous laughter of the mob, to say nothing, in certain cases, of the legal punishments looming ahead, they must be asking themselves how they could have been so 'stoopid'? But perhaps they are even too 'stoopid' to do that!
"First, no-one, friends or enemies, can be absolutely sure what he is thinking; and secondly, he is perfectly comfortable changing his mind when 'push comes to shove'. This keeps everyone on their toes!"
And this is because he is the one thing that none of the other are - he is not a fecking politician and he is not tied to dogma. He's a businessman; he only sees solutions, to better the working conditions of his "employeees, whereas politicians only seek power and the subjugation of their "people" That's the difference.
