It is (as usual for Dalrymple) an excellent article. The key question is why the talentless - who are often fine people - are in these days so addicted to power. Theresa May, for example, would probably have made a decent P.A. or a practice manager down the local health centre. But somewhere along the line, delusion set in, and here we all are...

Those men with no talent have aligned themselves with "men without chests". They run the culture and politics. It has been showing for decades.

And now, may God help us, they are running our Government.

She is worse than Mutti Merkel.

Do those who see in themselves a lack of talent include those always complaining about "elites"?
