Well, that cabinet massacre will concentrate minds wonderfully! Right or wrong, it's the 'DomBo' duo who are very much in command and control. The 'execution' of the Chancellor of the Exchequer will be imprinted on the consciousness of every cabinet minister - and their underlings. So, for good or ill, we now know that it is 'DomBo' who are running the show. It will be fascinating to see this duopoly at work. They may be right, they may be wrong, or more likely they will be a mix of the two. Certainly they will not be able to blame any errors on the 'underlings' who from now on will be utterly quiescent. We haven't seen a proper Prime Ministerial dictatorship since the days of 'that woman'! On the whole it worked splendidly for her so let us hope 'DomBo' do as well. And if the EU apparatchiks think they will have Britain over a barrel, they could be in for some shocking surprises!
