Well, to be fair, which I am not inclined to be, it is arse-wipe material in its coverage 0f this country! Of course, there is no expectation on my part for it always and forever to praise Britain but when it stoops to criticism it should at least be accurate. As Douglas Murray points out in The Spectator:
The [anti-British] trend has been going on since 2016, when the NYT seemed to have decided that the Brexit vote led the way for the election of Donald Trump. Since then the paper’s desire to attack Britain has appeared insatiable. A fact that leads the paper’s readers to be woefully ill-informed about this country.
Mr. Murray's article points out that the NYT appears to rely heavily on scribblers from The Guardian and The Times for its reports on Britain. Need one say more? The only time those papers will praise HMG is when the Labour party is running the show. Happily for us, that is way off in the future!
Presumably the online version of the NYT is virtual lavatory paper. I don't like the sound of that.

Virtual toilet paper? I can assure you that it definitively doesn’t work.

Please do not compare me to the New York Times. I have standards!
