Cummings or goings! The 'meeja' are swooning with joy and excitement over the fact that the PM's principal advisor, Dominic Cummings, took his wife and child 'ooop north' to live in a house close to his parents because they feared they might need child care support if they both fell foul of the 'dreaded lurgi'. CUE: mass hysterics from press and Labour who, of course, don't give a stuff about this pandemic but do care deeply for big headlines and for the demise of Boris Johnson!
And another thing, Boris: Sell off the BBC, or, if you can't get a decent price for it, then give it away! It's expensive, it's product is mostly crap and it is definitely a rest home for Left-wingers! And if they start charging OAPs like me for their garbage then you can forget my vote at the next election!
'Experts' turn on 'experts': Why am I not surprised? In a highly fluid condition like a pandemic by a hitherto unknown virus, everyone from presidents to epidemiologists, from prime ministers to maths swots, from journalists to know-nothing bloggers - and I heard that! - will offer their forecasts. Who to believe? None of them, although in the end, some of them might be right; instead just count the bodies and keep as clear as possible from strangers!
More Rumbles later . . .
You too? A political agenda(s) is running right along with this Commie flu. The sides are fixed and the class divide is more glaring than ever. The struggle by some for power at any price doesn't stop with the CCP. There are more "CCP types" all throughout the West than is healthy. I think a thinning might be in order.

It might have been better if Cummings had told Johnson of his intention before travelling (perhaps he did, but I can't find any reference to it). However, there are reports of Cummings and his wife seen out walking several miles away from where they were supposed to be staying. If true, and not a(nother) left wing wind up, this does show a level of hypocrisy not suited to a senior government advisor.

Those journalists add a great deal of value. Last year they all became experts in international trade, after scarcely mentioning it for decades. Then they became instant experts in constitutional law. Then virology, and epidemiology.
Not bad for a bunch of arts graduates!

Whyaxye, you were a bit too kind with your description of journalists. What is and has been happening in the UK is the unrelenting campaign against Cummings. He screwed the remainers big style and they want retribution. He is doing his best for his child. There is no evidence the man could have passed the virus to anyone. He was meticulous in his movements. No doubt he has been followed continuously by the remainer rat bag press.

David, "later" has turned into a l-o-n-n-g time.

Herewith my Facebook post on the subject.
Labour MP Tahir Ali attended a funeral in his constituency as one of 100 mourners at the start of April. Labour’s Stephen Kinnock drove hundreds of miles to see his parents and Labour MP Kevan Jones, attended a constituents’ birthday party, all during lockdown. The media and political silence is deafening, and the hypocrisy is so thick you could cut it with a knife. A curse on all their houses, Media, Labour and Tory!!
