I refer to Mr. Laurence Fox, best known as 'Sgt. Hathaway', the righthand man to 'Insp. Lewis' in the long - and I do mean 'looooooong'-running TV series "Lewis". It is not often that 'luvvies' speak much sense - unless someone else has written the lines for them - but today, in the 'Spectator' - where else? - he writes some superb good sense and I urge you all to give it a read.
Give that man an Oscar, or at least, buy him a pint if you see him in a pub!
Lewis is a great show. In fact the two series, Lewis and then Endeavour, developed from the Morse series are excellent viewing.
I am happy to watch and rewatch all of them on pay tv down here.

I have just read the Spectator article. Well written. Not only a good actor but a gutsy human being.

“In a time of universal deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”
Fox is a fine actor and smart man. I sense he may mean trouble in the entire feedlot.

Wigner's Friend,
A fine article. The exact same pattern in the US and Britain too. The Atlantic Ocean must be awfully narrow these days. Almost walking distance.

I suppose David this is the most appropriate post title to leave notice?
