When we on the American Right say this is the most consequential election in generations, we aren't joking. It took the likes of Trump, a never before politician, to force the entire ruling establishment to drop its totalitarian mask all at once. Every governing institution and every social institution has been shown to be rotten. But Orange man bad. I believe trouble is coming and our allies that we may have had better hold their collective breath.

The story is just another partisan attempt to divert attention from covid and the Trump family's conflicts of interest:

"WASHINGTON (AP) — Two Republican-led Senate committees issued a politically charged report Wednesday alleging that the work Joe Biden’s son did in Ukraine constituted a conflict of interest for the Obama administration at a time when Biden was engaged in Ukraine policy as vice president. ...

The report did not implicate Biden in wrongdoing, focusing instead on his son Hunter, who it said “cashed in” on his father’s position by joining the board of a Ukrainian gas company."

"President Donald Trump paid more in taxes to China through his business ventures between 2013 and 2015 than he did in the US in the years 2016 and 2017, according to tax records obtained by The New York Times."

"SHANGHAI (AP) — The Chinese government granted 18 trademarks to companies linked to President Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka Trump over the last two months, Chinese public records show, raising concerns about conflicts of interest in the White House."

Bob,why was the son of Biden involved in Ukraine? I suppose his father being an important politician was in the dark! Aye.

Looks like Sleepy Joe did attend a quid pro quo meeting with the Ukie bad boy, and this evidence came after the senate committee report linked by you, Bob ...

The New York Post report revealed that Biden, at Hunter’s request, allegedly met with the executive, Vadym Pozharskyi, in April 2015 in Washington, D.C.

The meeting was mentioned in an email of appreciation, according to the Post, that Pozharskyi sent to Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015 — a year after Hunter took on his position on the board of Burisma.

The Biden campaign told Fox News Sunday that the former vice president “never had a meeting” with Pozharskyi.

Biden, prior to the emails surfacing, repeatedly has claimed he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

And Rudy Giuliani has promised to release another tranch of emails from Crackhead Hunter's laptop - 2 weeks before the election!

The plot sickens!

The New York Post story has been discredited:

"An explosive New York Post story that sent Trumpworld into a frenzy is riddled with holes and red flags":

And "Rudy Giuliani is reportedly under federal investigation for possible campaign violations":

If Joe Goebbels had started a TV network it would have been very similar to Fox News, so I'll just leave them for you.

I don't know enough of the details of UK politics to judge, but over here political nepotism and influence peddling are common. If Trump loses the election that's probably something the Congress will legislate about. Why are you concerned about Hunter but not Ivanka?

Bob typed;

Why are you concerned about Hunter but not Ivanka?

Because the topic is about Hunter Biden, dumbass!

Not if I can change it.

Sorry. Sorry. I can do better than just being a wise ass, or if you prefer, dumbass. Fifty former intelligence officials have signed a letter claiming the Hunter Biden story is Russian disinformation:

sorry old bean but that's a pathetic defence.

I should have thought that was obvious even to a lefty.

Hunter is dead meat, will be in jail for paedophilia even before Biden gets Ammendment 25ed out of office, assuming that the obvious Demoscum vote harvesting and general skullduggery is enough to get him into the WH in the first place.

The evident lying and corruption is just icing on the cake.

Bob, that letter by those 50 douche-bags specifically says "we do not know" if the Crackhead Hunter story is Russian disinformation !!! ...

We want to emphasise that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement -- just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the
Russian government played a significant role in this case.

The Feds and DOJ, who actually have the laptop in their possession, say it IS NOT A RUSSIAN JOB ...

Those 50 douche-bags should be sacked for their blatant politicisation. The stench of panic and fear from the Dem residue of the swamp is overwhelming, the feeble excuses underwhelming.

To the tune of Dexys Midnight Runners, "C'mon Eileen" ...

"C'mon Giuli, oh, oh, oh-oh, oh, oh!"

Again with what Bob typed; Fifty former intelligence officials have signed a letter

Bob, bob, bob, The key word is FORMER. If you had read the letter, they admit to knowing diddly squat about Jack Schitt.

Well, aren't we suddenly all careful readers. Editors and reporters at the NYP itself have disavowed the story, and no reputable news outlets over here will pick it up. If you want to understand what's going on, this is the best source I could find, written by our Aussie cousins:

"The story falls over in the first paragraph. As mentioned earlier, the prosecutor was not investigating Burisma.

The story goes on to claim that "other material extracted from the computer includes a raunchy, 12-minute video that appears to show Hunter, who's admitted struggling with addiction problems, smoking crack while engaged in a sex act with an unidentified woman, as well as numerous other sexually explicit images."

How did the New York Post obtain this material?

It says the files were on a laptop dropped off at a computer repair shop in Delaware in April 2019.

The owner of the shop is "legally blind" and can't say for sure who dropped the laptop off, but surmised that it was Hunter Biden because his name was listed as the contact.

But whoever dropped it off never returned to pick it up.

The shop owner looked into the contents of the laptop and was apparently so horrified by what he found he alerted the FBI, though the FBI has not confirmed this.

He then got in contact with Mr Giuliani, through means which remain unclear.

The Biden family has not commented on whether the laptop was really dropped off by Hunter Biden.

Mr Giuliani told the New York Times that the reason he gave the story to the New York Post was that "either nobody else would take it, or if they took it, they would spend all the time they could to try to contradict it before they put it out".

Journalists at the New York Post have told the New York Times and New York Magazine that they are concerned about the veracity of the story.

There are a few possibilities for what has happened here. One is that Mr Giuliani, despite his recent record of lying about this story repeatedly, really did by incredible coincidence come into possession of these materials.

The other is that Russian intelligence hacked into Hunter Biden's information and then laundered what they found through a laptop and a drop at a friendly computer shop.

Either way, the information on the laptop is highly questionable.

Which is why American news outlets have been hesitant to touch it."

Read the whole article carefully here:

Bob;Well, aren't we suddenly all careful readers.

You rarely post an article with actual supporting facts.

Evidently you don't read an article all the way through.

Nothing but an opinion piece.

You still have nothing, bring something concrete to the table.

You are quickly losing points bub.

The particle is listed under "news" not "opinion". It's as concrete as I could find right now, which is a problem. Major outlets over here can't decide whether to dignify it with a response or ignore it because it's so obviously a setup. My guess is they'll be forced to cover it because the Trump Team will keep insisting it's true.

The article is listed under "news" not "opinion". Typo.

That should be of some help Bob.

Money quote:

"If this was a Russian operation, it would mean the Russians have the most amazing and powerful intelligence capability in the world. Specifically, it would mean the following:

"The Russians knew months in advance of April 2019 that Joe Biden was going to declare as a candidate for President and then managed to give an actual Hunter Biden laptop to the computer repair shop in Delaware."

"The Russians knew that the FBI would take possession of the lap top and the hard drive in December 2019--more than five months before Joe Biden secured the Democrat nomination for President--and that they could control what the FBI did and what John Paul Mac Isaac did."

Mr. Johnson incidentally Bob, is retired CIA as well as former State Department 'Installations and Personnel Security Services.'

Back during that dreadful 911 news broadcasting coverage all the majors, ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN, featured that guy introducing him (he was on voicelink - not appearing in person) as, variously,

"And now here's the latest of what is known so far by an official from the US State Department."

Sic Semper Tyrannis is a credible news source? Really? You and Up2L8 just hate Aussies, who are fantastic people - the best. They don't jump the border and rape our women ...

Whoa. Sorry. Hangover from watching the debate.

That last link incidentally Bob is authored by a Canadian. There's alot of stuff of the 'Blast[s] From The Past' embedded within the piece that "should serve" a body well.

But of course for our resident Master Baiter (even exceeding Jeffery Toobin's talents) all those reprises will probably be 'just another example of Russian Disinformation' ...

Well Bob, don't care about sources as long as the facts are accurate. In case you haven't noticed I keep on you about facts no the source.

The article listed under news is still an opinion of the authors.

I don't see your point. No matter how well or badly the Russians are doing overall, their intelligence services can try to mess with our elections. Same goes for Iran. Trump's boy John Ratcliffe said so during an "urgent" presser the other night that interrupted Jeopardy!. And Alex, who is also Canadian, probably won't be with us much longer.

You didn't get as far as reading the URL but accused me of not reading the article, which I have. Your opinion that the story is opinion is also an opinion.

Yes, I did read the whole article. Just a repeat of what is already out there, a collection of other peoples thoughts. The article admits to such. "As American media outlets wrestle with whether or not to publish information being provided by the President's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani and former chief White House strategist Steve Bannon, Sky News Australia, The Daily Telegraph and the Australian have happily broadcast and published their thoughts". So, what is new.

And guess what? You are right about my opinion, but then show where I have claimed otherwise!
