Always better to judge what someone does than what they say.

While the Don might have had some locker-room jaw-jaw about "grabbing 'em by the pussy", remember it was Joe Biden that actually did grab 'em by the pussy ...,Capitol%20Hill%20office%20building%20when

Funny how the MSM air-brushed that one out of the coverage.

David, good observation! There is no "Joe Biden" in Joe Biden. Never has been. He is the ultimate DC insider that people despise. A bank credit card flack from Delaware who is always open for business.

We are all, mostly, very concerned about his unknown advisers and America's allies should be too. I don't know how Britain views him. I do know how China views him though. Yes, pray for China Joe's health for at least three years and eleven months.

Biden probably won't be able to accomplish much unless both contested Senate seats in Georgia go to the Democrats in January. A Republican Senate under Mitch McConnell will probably just go back to a scorched earth opposition strategy. Still, at the very least Biden will put knowledgeable people in important government positions and clean out the nest of third-rate "loyalists".

There are Brits, Canadians and others who are also relieved to be rid of Trump:

"In countries across the globe, people reported fireworks and cheering after President-elect Joe Biden was named the winner of the 2020 election on Saturday.

Locals in the United Kingdom, where many had leftover fireworks from Guy Fawkes Night this week, reported fireworks going off in London. There were videos of fireworks in Edinburgh, Scotland, and reports of celebrations in Germany."

Now we just have to wait for Donnie to be escorted from the White House by the Secret Service.

Funny how you airbrushed this from the article:

"Reade has misrepresented herself and her life experiences on numerous occasions, including lying under oath and in court proceedings."

My, but aren't we suddenly the feminist.

Bob,I wonder which country the USA will invade next. No doubt we Brits will have another special relationship when he does.

If you're going to cut & paste, at least read the frigging text before doing so.

As regards fireworks, these have been going off in the UK since the end of September. I hear they're popular amongst asian families to celebrate stuff

I must have missed the memo informing that results of US elections are given by the legacy media.

Reade made her experience with Biden perfectly clear at the time, way back when it happened, to family, friends and co-workers who corroborated her doing so ...

One friend said that Reade had told her about the alleged assault in 1993, while another said that Reade told her in 2008 that Biden had touched her inappropriately and that "she'd had a traumatic experience while working in his office".[18] The New York Times story included two former interns who said they remembered Reade "suddenly changing roles and no longer overseeing them" at the same time Reade said she had been "abruptly reassigned".[18]

Anonymous individuals who said that they have heard from Reade previously were not only reported in The New York Times, but also in other outlets. Due to a lack of identification, it is unknown which of these anonymous individuals overlap.[47] The Associated Press reported in April that it spoke with two more people who said Reade had told them parts of her story years ago, publishing their accounts anonymously. One was told of the alleged assault in 1993, and another remembers hearing of "sexual harassment" in 2007 or 2008.[42] The Washington Post spoke to "a friend, a former intern for another lawmaker", that said that Reade had alleged an assault soon after it happened.[14] CNN spoke to a friend of Reade's who had previously interned for Senator Ted Kennedy, who says she was told of both sexual harassment and sexual assault at the time, and that in 2019, she had advised Reade to only go public about harassment, not assault.[48]

Joseph Backholm was friends with Reade between 2002 and 2004 during law school. He said in late May 2020 that Reade had told him "When I was in Washington, D.C. I was sexually assaulted by someone you would know". Backholm said at the time Reade went by the name Tara McCabe, and said he realized he knew Biden's accuser only after recognizing her from the Megyn Kelly interview.[49][1]

Even her ex-husband, with whom she had a traumatic separation and therefore has no axe to grind in her favour, concurs ...

On May 7, 2020, The Tribune reported on a declaration Reade's former husband, Theodore Dronen, submitted to a court in 1996 to contest a restraining order Reade had filed against him after he had filed for divorce.[52] Dronen wrote that Reade had mentioned "a problem she was having at work regarding sexual harassment, in U.S. Senator Joe Biden's office." The document did not name Biden as the perpetrator or mention sexual assault. Dronen added that Reade "eventually struck a deal with the chief of staff of the Senator's office and left her position ... It was obvious that this event had a very traumatic effect on [Reade], and that she is still sensitive and effected [sic] by it". Dronen cited the alleged incident as one of several examples that "color [Reade's] perception and judgment" for her request of a restraining order. Dronen confirmed to The Tribune on May 7, 2020, that he had written the declaration, and declined to comment any further on it, saying "Tara and I ended our relationship over two decades ago under difficult circumstances. I am not interested in reliving that chapter of my life. I wish Tara well, and I have nothing further to say."[52]

Some associates of Reade who claim they have heard from her previously have disclosed their identities. Lorraine Sanchez came forward to Business Insider; she was Reade's co-worker from 1994 to 1996, and says she was told about "sexual harassment" by Reade, and about a complaint filed, leading to the loss of her job, but she does not recall if Reade named Biden or what kind of harassment took place.[47][54] Lynda LaCasse, an ex-neighbour of Reade's, also came forward to Business Insider, and later CNN, for articles published on April 27 and 28 respectively.[38][54][48] LaCasse told CNN that Reade had told her about the alleged assault by Biden " the mid-1990s". LaCasse told CNN she had advised Reade at the time to file a police report. According to CNN, "it was last year when Reade brought up Biden that LaCasse told her that she remembered their conversation about the alleged sexual assault".[48] LaCasse told Business Insider that she remembered the allegations when Reade contacted her recently, saying: "this Joe Biden thing is coming up again."[55][56]

Collin Moulton, Reade's brother, initially reported to The Washington Post that Reade told him in 1993 that Biden had touched her neck and shoulders. He said there was "a gym bag incident", and that Biden "was inappropriate". ABC News also interviewed Moulton in March 2020; he told them that Reade had mentioned "'harassment at work' from Biden" but that "he only heard her account of the assault this spring".[14] Later that day, Moulton texted ABC News to "clarify" that Reade had told him in 1993 that Biden had "more or less cornered her against a wall" and "put his hands up her clothes."[22]

She must be a very long term lying strategist to prepare family, friends and co-workers back in 1993, three decades decades in advance of deploying her story.

Why don't ***you*** read the whole wiki article? Then you'll see both sides of the story, unlike the MSM and it's completely one-sided story telling in all matters to do with the Don.

Somehow, I doubt, just like his predecessor, that he has ever had a strategic thought pass through his mind.

Gaffer, reference the Don, you are just plain wrong.

You don't get to outfox Vlad, puppet-master Dirty Erdy, silo the Mad Mullahs and Rocketman, get the Arabs and Israelis to agree peace, defeat the Dems and MSM in two fake conspiracy claims, and drain the swamp with the biggest tax break in US history, without a goal, principles, and strategy.

A Libertarian at home, and a Machiavelli abroad. A philosopher and strategist combined. Consummate, for the people and for America.

Look at the kind of company that Biden's embracing as they come out from their silos to dance and sing: Merkel, Macron, the Mad Mullahs, Assad, and no doubt Rocketman will add his voice to the celebrating throng. Only Vlad, the eternally dim, still believes that the Don was his friend, in spite of finding himself quagmired in three wars (Syria, Libya, and Nagorno-Karabakh) with the Don's proxy, Dirty Erdy, and suffering under record levels of sanctions! If the adage "You can judge someone by the company they keep" ever needed an instantiating example, just look at Biden's mates ...

And those hanging their heads in sadness: the Arabs and the Jews, who, after millennia of hatred and war and fifty years since any concession to each other, found themselves collaborating again, and even resuming full diplomatic relations.

The Brits, bravely and boldly (a bit too bravely and boldly, IMHO) going somewhere they've been before and made a cock and bollocks of, but trying again. Who's the only guy in the world on their side, hand over fist with a deal and encouragement?

The Don not a strategist and man of principle? Really?

"And who are they, exactly?"

Well David that's easy enough - the board of Goldman Sachs, Lawrence Summers, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jack Dorsey. Oh forgot some others - the Brookings Institution.

A fine bunch, you'll like 'em.

Rather'n me going to the trouble of trying to paraphrase that to suit UK sensibilities I'll just drop that there so I can hope to get to today's main aim - I gots to re-supply my beer stock.

We're short on funds right now, so I'd guess an easy lift like Reagan's invasion of Grenada.

david morris,

The article mentions fireworks being left over from Guy Fawkes Night, but also mentions some tweets, for whatever they're worth. Since then I've seen "vox pop" interviews with people all over the world glad Trump is done.

I first saw the election called by the statisticians at FiveThirtyEight on Friday morning. Fox News had called Arizona for Biden before any other outlet. So much for "legacy media", whatever that is, having a monopoly.

If you know anyone who can spot you a tranquilizer, it wouldn't hurt to ring them up.

Oh do perk up! ...

Bob, why do socialists in the USA not walk to the polling stations? Is it because they can have proxy votes for themselves and others!

The Left is jumpin' the gun.

SD Gov. Noem: ‘We Gave Al Gore 37 Days to Run the Process’ — Trump Voters Deserve Same Consideration -

More and more, I'm thinking this thing will be reversed, based on legal principles. Like, the law.
Snowflakes will melt, but that's too bad.

Bob, will we ever see in our lifetimes when you Yanks cannot dictate to other nations and threaten our economies and impose poverty on nations.

Err, Jimmy, like two hot wars and one cold all for our benefit, and now the only man left standing in the thin red line of the culture war?

The Americans have a system and it doesn't involve the media in making decisions.

Tried posting before but it got deleted.

All those people bidding Donald Trump adieu are just a bit premature in their glee. As of this date, the official electoral vote count for the two candidates is: 0 - 0. Not one state has been called. The lefty media is "calling" the election; that has no legal standing. Nowhere in the Constitution does it state that the BBC, CBS, NBC, Fox, Sky, etc., call US elections. We have a process in place since 1787 that has worked pretty well; that process is just in its starting phase. Do not bet against Trump.
I would note further that Europeans and others in the West celebrating the departure of Trump would come to rue that were it to happen. Biden is an empty suit, a barely awake Trojan horse for far left activists who hate the West. The West, UK included, will not fare well with a Biden presidency.

Trump has had amazingly brilliant economic and foreign policies. Biden, or whomever ends up actually running a "Biden" White House,is a return to failed and stale policies with an added very lefty twist. You do not want to live in those kind of interesting days.

Climate science, virology and now statistics are all fake. And if all else fails, throw the words "socialist" and "conspiracy" around. Whatever gets you through the night, guys.

Whitewall, only jesting however Biden is not a friend of the UK and is already interfering in the UK democratic process.

"Climate science, virology and now statistics are all fake." No they are not - but they are open to debate.

Well, that's progress.

Bob, Biden is a hero in the Irish Republic,he told them he was Irish and Catholic. The County Mayo Irish are erecting poster images of their hero. Bob do you think Biden knows that the Irish Republic were sympathetic to Hitler? And that tens of thousands US troops trained in British Northern Ireland for the Normandy Landings. Perhaps you will enlighten the Muppet.

Bob,let sleepy Joe know about General Eoin O'Duffy Sinn Fein IRA. Anti semitic and Nazi lover.

For the moment probably more of us hope he understands something about American history. Do you think Biden knows Neville Chamberlain had a policy of appeasement toward Hitler? Does he believe Boris is literally a clone of Trump? Beats me, but if I happen to run into him, I'll ask about that too.

Did you know our first Second Gentleman, Douglas Emhoff, husband of Kamala Harris, is Jewish? It could only happen in America!

Bob, I reckon Biden would be like his fellow Irish, a Franco and Hitler supporter. That does not include the British Northern Irish.
