I do actually believe that there's a pol gene. People who have it switched to "on", and who are psychotically arrogant and psychopathically lacking in empathy, become pols.

These people are simply not like the rest of us. For all intents and purposes, they are lizards under their human skin. The beast under the skin is used in sci-fi novels and movies as a construct for plot lines on a regular basis.

Some people read QAnon literally, like some read the Bible literally. I prefer the allegories, metaphors. They're striking at something horribly wrong in the world, and that thing is power, and the degradation of mankind's defences against it over recent years.

QAnon comes with its own fair share of lizards in human skin of course. But your enemy's enemy is your friend, so it's best to hold their coats while they go at it. While they're doing that the ordinary folks might get some respite, what you might call the most worst case.

A better case, one of the human skinned lizards might cease to be in denial of their detrimental effect on the rest of us, acknowledge the monster within, and put his hand up and say, "In the times we live in, government is not the solution to our problems. Government is the problem". Or maybe shorten the statement to "Drain the swamp". That's the least worst case.

The freedom of the individual is sustained by a mad dash between those two worst cases throughout history, and when those two options cease, it's a Dark Age.

The best case will come when gene therapy can innoculate the entire world's population at birth from expression of the pol gene.

I'm convinced that the scientists have already discovered where on the genome the pol gene lies, and a vaccine against it. But the reptiles in human skin have kidnapped the scientists and imprisoned them in underground caverns, next to the tunnels used for paedophile child trafficking.

Until the scientists are freed and deliver the vaccine into everyone's arms, it's most worst, or least worst, or a Dark Age for the ordinaries.

In Breaking Bad, the allegory is that of power, right, no arguments please. Walter White has got it bad. It took a nurture event to trigger his nature into action, the cancer thing per the plot line. There I grant you Bob, the pol manifestation is a nature / nurture combo job: each one is necessary but not sufficient on its own. They've gotta have the gene, but that's not enough, they've gotta be dropped on their heads when they were a baby too.

Breaking Bad is the greatest allegory of the power gene I've ever seen in any art form. To backup my claim that the grassroots activists are merely pol gened under achievers, consider Walter White's endless repetition throughout the series: "I'm only doing this for you, Skyler, and the family", as follows:

Then, in the final episode, when he's destroyed everyone and everything around him, including himself, he utters the immortal truth: "I didn't do it for you, Skyler, or the family. I did it for me.". But the next sentence is my point: "Because I was good at it."

Although hopeless in the fair competition of the independent sector, his chemistry work and company plucked out of his hands by sassier operators, reduced to the lowly status of chemistry teacher at a high school, he turns to the cheating world that dodges the rules of fair competition, rules and justice: to crime and advancement therein by power.

Compared to his peers in this new world, he discovers he is excellent. A few bag carriers tag along with him, the less able than he, and disaster and destruction befalls all of them too.

On the subject of Satan, the final scene where his dying face spins and descends downwards surrounded by the wreckage of his burning crystal meth apparatus, is moot and brilliant.

Not even William Shakespeare comes close, those Breaking Bad guys comletely nailed it.

So when QAnon says "These people are sick", I just can't fault it.

That inauguration yesterday was a massive fund raising event for an assault on the white working class as well as any minorities who consider joining them. A war on "domestic terrorists" meaning anyone who is not 'woke', not down with Critical Race Theory, not in tune with "safetyism" and not in tune with the new god of secular Leftism and their assorted demi gods.
