What’s wrong with this Government? Why is it so passive, veering from crisis to crisis without a strategy, devoid of any meaningful plan? Such people voted Brexit in 2016 and Tory in 2019 because they thought the country was on the wrong track and that it was time for a radical shake-up. "Take back control" is being seen for what it really means: total loss of control!  Like a geriatric patient having just been cleaned up by the EU carers for thirty years proudly returning to his bed - only to immediately shit his pants again!  Not even able to control its own bowels and borders, the very declaration it so clearly expounded would be possible, now covered in poo ...

Why is it taking so long to send the Army in? Why can’t the DVLA be fixed? And what about the UK’s inability to control its own borders, as demonstrated by the fact that 17,085 people have arrived from the Channel on small boats so far this year – double 2020’s total already? Or to defend Jersey, which fears the French might cut off electricity supplies if Britain doesn’t surrender on fishing rights?

And the downward spiral of more and more statism and authoritarianism:  "Send in the army", "Fix the DVLA".  Do they know the state never fixed British Leyland, British Coal, British Rail, British Steel, gas, electricity, water and telecoms when under its control?  Those industries got fixed by ceasing to be controlled by the state, not by more state!

And the pathetic, pitiful exhortation to send in an army that hasn't won a war since 1982.

All this, dear friends, is just the beginning.  It is but nothing compared to what is going to happen.

Have you ever wondered why a replicant would be called "Roy Batty?". I mean, it's not exactly the sort of exotic name sci-fi would normally associate with an advanced synthetic human, is it?  Maybe Zed Zillon, C3PO, but "Roy Batty"? Roy Batty is a working class empire soldier. He has the kind of name you see on headstones in Flanders and the Punjab.

A workmate of mine from times past is one. I spent an interesting evening in a gloomy pub in North Wales while the rain lashed down like a cat o' nine tails outside, as he told me how he'd crawled through a minefield in the dark with a torch and an acetylene bottle on his back to fix and retrieve a damaged four tonner, with Iraqi snipers and machine gunners taking pot shots at him.  And how he'd watched the MLRS send rockets like meteors through the cool Arabian night's stars, barging past the shoulder of Orion and lifting the Tannenhauer Gate off its fucking hinges.

And yet the QZ article spins the truth into a tub-thump for more windmills.

BoJo intends to dump oodles of extra tax cash into the top of the power pyramid of the failed NHS system using the failed National Insurance system.  Pure Blue Socialism with a track record of degradation since 1948.

But IDS's comment hints at a realisation of the problem in the minds of the diminished and usurped Libertarian faction of the Tory party ... "without a proper solution ... the problem not solved".

A high-tax high-spend Tory party "without a proper solution ... the problem not solved" matches Liberal and Labour party stances on the matter, thereby demonstrating the triple-lock failure of Blighty's democracy - quite literally a hard-baked zero solution ballot paper with a fake choice - and guarantees another 1970's style bankruptcy and failed state long term outcome.

The NHS has 1.4 million people working for it.  It is the 5th largest employer in the world; only McDonald's, Walmart, the US DOD, and the Chinese Army have more staff working for them than the NHS.  And yet the NHS doesn't have enough doctors and nurses.  It makes the Brits wait weeks to see a GP, months to see a consultant, and years to have an operation, and that was even before the Covid plague arrived.

Brexit was the prime mover in this triple-lock socialism that has broken Blighty's democracy.  Brexit is the statist, collectivist, socialist dream come true, left, right and centre.  It emboldens the executive's control of the means of the production in all parties because "Take back control" didn't mean take back control for you and me, it meant take back control for the political class in Westminster.

Specifically, it meant the external governance of Blighty that prevented such triple-lock socialism and fake democracy from happening, namely:  Margaret Thatcher's single market, four freedoms, and state aid rules, was removed like a straitjacket from the lunatic - the proven lunatic from the "hero of WWII to zero of bankruptcy" 1945-1975 period.

And so there's no surprise that Blue Socialists of the right, like BoJo and Cummings with their "backing winners", "f*ck business", and "Brexity Hezza" mentality, are now hand-in-hand with the original red socialists, in fact, out-doing them.

There's another hint at the truth of what is needed in Steve Baker's comment ...

Steve Baker, the former Brexit minister, said: “Of all the ways to break manifesto tax pledges to fund the NHS and social care, raising NIC must be the worst. In this time of crisis, we need a zero-based review of what the state does and how it is funded.”

But IDS and Baker are fools if they think that a low-state, no-state healthcare system to replace the failed NHS will ever happen until Blighty is bankrupt and a failed state yet again.

Now the lunatic is unfettered and running the asylum, we just have to wait for economic, social, and political oblivion before we get any "proper solution" and "problem solved".

When the DT conflates booing of BLM with monkey chants, you know we're in trouble

There were also further demonstrations by far right groups outside the stadium ahead of France players taking a knee before kick-off during the second fixture. A number of French media reports alleged monkey chants were later directed at Paul Pogba, N’Golo Kante and Kylian Mbappe. Fans had also loudly jeered Republic of Ireland players for taking the knee at a Euro 2020 warm-up game.

After racist abuse on the terraces in Montenegro and Bulgaria in 2019 and then booing over taking the knee from their own supporters at Euro 2020, the current England generation were well-prepared for hostilities they faced at the Puskas Arena.

BLM is a political movement and its supporters who "take the knee" are political activists.  Booing them is exercising the right to freedom of expression.  End of.

But in addition, BLM itself is a political movement for anti-white discrimination and pro-black privilege.  This is both anti-equality and anti-equity.  Anti-equality because privilege is the antithesis of rights which are there for all equally.  And anti-equity because equity is about redistribution to those in need irrespective of any other categorisation of human being, like race, creed, gender, or identity, other than need.  Put simply, BLM is racist.

Criticizing, including booing, is the right of freedom of expression and should be available to all people including the far right, and targetable at all people including the far left.

In those paragraphs above you see how the Daily Telegraph is now complicit in the conflation of criticism of BLM with racist monkey chants, joining ranks with the BBC, CNN and the nexus of the Left Axis.

Another step in the direction of the New Dark Age, and a sad day for those who Love Enlightenment and Liberty.

The hidden victory in Afghanistan

Glezza was worried in the comments about it being difficult to bomb Islamists at home.  Well, that may be true, but it's also just become a lot easier to bomb the Islamists abroad, because now we're working with them abroad ...

US Army General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has said it was “possible” the United States will seek to coordinate with the Taliban on counterterrorism strikes in Afghanistan against Islamic State militants or others.

Marine General Frank McKenzie, head of US Central Command, has described the U.S. relationship with the Taliban during the evacuation as “very pragmatic and very businesslike”, saying they helped secure the airport.

Service folks should not think their efforts have been in vain in Afghanistan.  Far from it, neither of the two paragraphs quoted above would have been possible to say 20 years ago.  In fact, the turning point against terrorist Islamism has been made in those 20 years by the skill, courage and resilience of those who served in Afghanistan.

We now have the Hairies willing to fight and kill each other, and, with the faction we're backing willing to down tools against us.  This is the mirror of the success in Syria and the wider ME, where we got Shia and Sunni terrorists to fight each other.

"Bait and bleed", the Judean People's Front vs the People's Front of Judea, hold their coats while they kick the proverbial out of each other, all of these are with us now on all foreign fronts against the enemy.

So Glezza, back to Winnie's old adage that seems to be worrying you "When there is no enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt you"?  And we have the enemy within, therefore a problem, right?

Well the homeboys are puppet-mastered by their hard-nut masters abroad.  And correct me if I'm wrong, but the hard-nut foreign puppet-masters are mighty busy in their Sunni-on-Shia and soon to be Taliban-on-ISIS wars all across the ME and Asia.  So the command strings have been somewhat severed.

And, if any Brit Conservative Muslim Dad's and Grandad's fancy sending their nutter youth to those foreign wars to fight the new priority enemies over there, we should buy them their EasyJet or RyanAir tickets and wave them a fond farewell!  The problem of bombing our homeboy terrorists just got solved by getting them to travel abroad and bomb themselves there!

If the West's foreign policy and military picks up the massive opportunity granted us by the blood, toil, tears and sweat of our armed forces, in the end it will be easy being a Roman again ...
